The BAMIN Network was promoted during the Asset Management Workshop held in Lusaka, Zambia on 3-5 July 2024 by Ms Arita Hadjieva from the North Macedonia Agency for Management of Seized and Confiscated Property. The workshop was organized by the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) and Zambia under the auspices of the Asset Recovery Inter-Agency Network, through the support of the United States State Department. On this occasion, best practices, challenges and experiences in asset management both from the perspective of North Macedonia and from the BAMIN region have been discussed in a dedicated session.
The workshop represented a significant occasion for further promoting BAMIN in an international forum and reinforcing its role as a crucial Network of practitioners relevant internationally.
